A 95-year-old charitable foundation that works to improve living conditions in the Middle East and North Africa has moved its headquarters from New York City to Syracuse University.
The Near East Foundation’s move into Crouse Hinds Hall signals a partnership that will mix SU’s academic programs and resources with the foundation’s experience in providing solutions for struggling communities in the countries it serves, officials said.
