Center for Development Services professionals, drawn from an impressively wide range of disciplines, plan and carry out all CDS program activities. These full-time professionals are characterized by a broad educational base and extensive practical experience. Many have spent time living or studying in other countries and years working in the field. The staff are well known for their focus on participation in designing various programs to meet specific needs and for their strategic approach when considering regional and local issues. They also provide a wealth of skills and knowledge in specific and specialized fields such as community development, adult education, community health, small and micro-enterprise, management and organizational development, agricultural extension, institution building, and social science applications. All the staff members are Arabic-speaking, bi- and tri-lingual Egyptian professionals coming from a diverse range of professional backgrounds.

Center for Development Services operates through a number of service management units staffed by multi-disciplinary teams and a separate research and evaluation department. The staff’s experience, vision, and ideas enable CDS to deliver high quality services that meet the immediate needs and long-term objectives of our development projects and programs.
