NEF (Near East Foundation) meets the Standards for Charity Accountability of the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance. The alliance helps donors by collecting and distributing information on hundreds of nonprofit organizations that solicit nationally or have national or international program services. Organizations are asked to provide information on programs, governance, fundraising practices and finances.
